2. Navigating the Surface Tablet
The Microsoft Surface Windows RT tablet provides a new and inventive user experience. Nothing that you know about using Windows on the desktop applies on the tablet. For example, the menu bar at the top of an application, which gives you more options for doing things in the app, is gone. The “idea” of the menu bar still exists, but it looks different and you access it in a completely new way.
The good news is that once you’ve mastered a few basic navigation techniques, using the tablet will be a breeze. You may even find yourself saying, “What took them so long to change it?”
