Adding a Web Part to a SharePoint Page
To display an OpsMgr 2012 dashboard in a SharePoint 2010 page, the web part needs to be added to the page and configured for the proper dashboard.
To add the web part to a SharePoint page, execute the following steps:
1. Launch Internet Explorer and connect to a SharePoint site.
2. Create a new page by clicking on Site Actions and then New Page.
3. Give the page and name, for this example SQL Servers Dashboard and click Create.
4. Add the OpsMgr 2012 dashboard web part by clicking on Insert, Web Part, Microsoft System Center, Operations Manager Dashboard Viewer, and then click Add. The web part will be inserted at the top of the page, as shown in Figure 9.24.
