Deploying the Protection Agent Using a Manual Installation Process
The second method for deploying the protection agent is through a manual installation. Manual installations are typically done when a machine is behind a firewall, the agent is being incorporated into a server image, or the remote installation of the agent using the DPM Administrator Console is not possible. An example of such a scenario is shown in Figure 10.6.
