Role-Based Access Control
Permissions in VMM are based on user roles, which can be scoped to increase or limit the objects that a user role can access, as shown in Figure 12.2.
User roles are similar to security groups in Active Directory. They are made up of domain accounts or groups and have a particular set of permissions granted to them. There are three basic user role types in VMM:
