The tools that this chapter describes will get the job done, but they aren’t always cost-effective. In large organizations, you can end up with a mish-mash of batch scripts, .vbs scripts, .reg files, and other files that become difficult to manage. Auto-Prof (http://www.autoprof.com) publishes a settings-management product called Profile Maker (see Figure 12-9).
