Installing Windows Server 2008 on a Virtual Machine
You can use the following steps to install Windows Server 2008 on the virtual machine you created in the previous steps:
1. If necessary, click Start All Programs Windows Virtual PC, and select Windows Virtual PC.
2. Locate the Security DC1 virtual machine you created previously, and double-click it to start it.
Because there isn’t an operating system installed on this virtual machine yet, it won’t do much.
3. Click Tools Settings.
4. Select DVD Drive.
5. Select Open An ISO Image, and click Browse. Browse to the location of the Windows Server 2008 .iso image you downloaded in an earlier step. Your display will look similar to Figure D-7.
