Connecting Remotely to a Corporate Network
More and more corporations allow their employees and key customers and suppliers to connect to the corporation's internal network from locations outside the network. Although it's possible to configure a small network or even a single home computer for similar access, it's often more feasible on corporate networks because of their fast Internet connections, static IP addresses, and dedicated administrative staff that can set up and maintain secure connections to the outside world.
