Chapter 28. Sending and Receiving Faxes
Microsoft Windows XP includes a fax component (referred to as Fax Services, or Fax for short) that lets you send, receive, and manage faxes using your computer's fax modem. With Fax installed, you can transmit documents directly from the applications that create them (your word processor, for example), send a scanned image, or address a fax recipient directly from a supported e-mail client (Microsoft Outlook, for example).
