Your Minecraft space is a reflection of you — your personality, your likes and dislikes, your creativity, and so on. Everything you design shows a different part of your imagination. To put your best foot forward, try to master a few basic design principles — such as symmetry (balancing the design) and the correct color choice — to make a big difference in your buildings, both inside and outside.

If you choose to read this entire chapter, you’ll know how to make a plan for your new building, use symmetry to make everything interesting, make all kinds of colors, and create cool-looking floors, walls, and roofs.
