Abstract
Edge cloud is pushing the frontier of cloud's services and resource management, where applications, data, and services are usually located away from centralized datacenter computing and storage nodes to the logical extremes of a network. Edge cloud is different from Internet cloud in two main ways: resource organization and service location are different; and data value and processing model are different.
