I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Now that you understand some of the challenges that result from operating IT infrastructure with today’s methods, let’s examine a better way. Chapter 1, “A Lightbulb Goes Off,” introduced the notion of using DevOps to operate infrastructure and also examined some of the reasons it is not widely adopted. This chapter begins to lay the technical groundwork for how you can treat your network infrastructure as code and safely harness automation using DevOps.
