Identifying and Cataloguing Key Business Imperatives
Abstract
As an enterprise data management (EDM) roadmap effort gets underway, an organization almost always has at least one or two significant business initiatives in progress or are about to start that need to be considered along the timeline of the roadmap leadings toward the future EDM state. This chapter provides a concise sampling of the types of initiatives strategists and architects need to be aware of as they prepare for the EDM roadmap.
