I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

As I write this, it’s been nearly two and a half years since I had the idea for this book, which is a long time for a technical book.
First, I want to thank everybody at the Pragmatic Bookshelf. When I said that the book needed to be delayed indefinitely because the Rails team was going to release a big library some hand-wavy time in the future, they were completely in agreement.
