When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase “Those were the good old days.” I’ve usually found it to be a catch-all that refers to a time in one’s life that had a sense of great meaning, relevance and all-around fun. Personally, I’ve never met a group of people who seem to bring that sense of relevance and fun with them into the present more than music and audio professionals, enthusiasts and students. The fact that many of us refer to the tools of our profession as “toys” says a lot about the way we view our work. Fortunately, I was born into that clan and have reaped the benefits all my life … the here and now are always, my “good ol’ days”!
