Chapter 10: Infusing Your Apps with Machine Learning Using WinML
Artificial intelligence is, without a doubt, one of the most relevant topics in the technology ecosystem, which unlocks new and exciting opportunities to automate tasks that, in the past, simply weren't possible, from recognizing objects in a picture or a video feed to understanding a user's behavior.
These scenarios are powered by machine learning, a technology that enables you to train a model (which is stored in a file) with a set of data. For example, you can train a model to recognize a specific object in a picture. Once you have a model, by identifying patterns, the algorithm will try to apply the same logic used during the training to any picture you provide as input.
