Chapter 6. The Three Ts
The Three Ts are Testing, Tools, and Troubleshooting. In this chapter, we will discuss tools and important parts of the Opsview system that will help us if we run into problems. Every once in a while, things will not work as intended (or expected) and so we need to have some tools available to help us figure out the cause.
Inthe Testing from the WebUI section in Chapter 3, Advanced Configuration, we have already seen how to test plugins from the web interface. But, sometimes we would like to test or debug directly on the server or client. In this chapter, we will look into how we can use the various tools that Opsview provides to help us troubleshoot, maintain, and debug our system.
