2009 UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP
On Tax Day, 2009, four finalists confronted each other across a table in the expansive foyer of Union Station in Washington, D.C. At stake was the title for the nation’s Monopoly champion. The four had prevailed over dozens of other players during two days of preliminary games. They were:
