Installing and Deleting Software with iTunes
While you can install and delete apps directly on your iPhone, you can also use iTunes on your computer to install and delete apps. When you use iTunes, you'll have to sync your iPhone with your computer for the new software changes to appear on your iPhone (see Project 12).
Installing Software in iTunes
Using iTunes to find iPhone apps can be convenient, since you can read an entire screen of information about a particular app rather than trying to read information on the screen of the iPhone.
To install a program through iTunes, do this:
Open iTunes on your computer.
Click iTunes Store under the STORE category in the left pane. The iTunes screen appears, as shown in Figure 11-11.
