Part III. Applications

In this part of the book we will build NLP applications. The goal of each chapter is to establish how we can build real applications using Spark NLP. This will also let us cover some topics from earlier chapters in a more practical manner.

As we mentioned earlier, when building NLP applications we need to keep three perspectives in mind: software engineering, data science, and linguistics. We will go through the design, development, experimentation, and deployment process.

A caveat for these chapters: we will try to use more realistically sized data sets in this part of the book. This means that the code may take a while to run.
