All of us have preferred habits and patterns in which we react to and handle conflict. We learned these habits and patterns early in life and they’ve coalesced into our chosen conflict style. Some of us quake inside and long to flee. Others seek peace at any cost. Still others instinctively respond in a toe-to-toe manner.
The following inventory gives you an opportunity to learn your preferred conflict styles and patterns. Once you identify your preferred style, in contrast with other approaches, you can add to your repertoire other styles and approaches that appeal to you.
