A Model of Organizational Nepotism

The purpose of this chapter1 is to present a model of organizational nepotism that integrates the limited research on nepotism with more robust research findings from closely related areas (e.g., organizational justice, affirmative action, family-owned businesses). Many of the constructs and relationships presented in the model have already been addressed in the previous chapters and the objective here is to provide a clear rationale while minimizing repetition.
