Time for action – creating the data structure for the prioritized shopping list

Follow the given steps:

1. Create a console application.
2. Add a class called PriorityQueue to the project. Change the signature of the class header as follows:

   public class PriorityQueue<Tkey, TValue> where Tkey : IComparable

3. The heart of this PriorityQueue is a SortedList. I want to call it innerDS, add this private variable as follows:

   private SortedList<Tkey, List<TValue>> innerDS;
   public PriorityQueue()
   {
     innerDS = new SortedList<Tkey, List<TValue>>();
   }

4. Go to the Main() method of the console app and add the following code:

   PriorityQueue<int, string> gadgets = new PriorityQueue<int, string>();
