Following is a network assessment template that can be used for any deliverables. Some of the format here has been previously published in Designing Cisco Networks (by Cisco Press).
Introduction
The “Introduction” section of a network assessment document should include a brief overview of the network environment.
Executive Summary of Findings
The “Executive Summary of Findings” section of a network assessment document should include a high-level overview of what was found. The idea here is a one- or two-page summary of what issues (if any) were found. The bulk of the document will be supporting facts for this section.
