I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Was ist Sniffing?
Das Wort Sniffing stammt vom englischen to sniff ab und kann als Schnüffeln übersetzt werden. Das Verb leitet sich von Sniffer ab, was ursprünglich ein 1986 entwickeltes Programm der Firma Network General bezeichnete, das die Aufzeichnung und Auswertung des Datenverkehrs bestimmter Netzwerke ermöglichte. Inzwischen gibt es sehr viele Programme für fast alle Betriebssysteme und Netzwerktypen, die derartige Funktionen zur Verfügung stellen. Die Begriffe Sniffer und Sniffing sind jedoch erhalten geblieben und beschreiben heutzutage den Vorgang, den Datenstrom eines Netzwerkes mitzuschneiden und eventuell in für Menschen aufgearbeiteter Form darzustellen.
