If you bought your camera with a lens, then you basically have everything you need to begin shooting with your D3100. I took great care to ensure that almost all of the techniques covered in the book were not beyond your basic camera setup. That being said, there are some accessories that are essential for certain types of photography. Other accessories aren’t necessarily essential, but they will improve the look of your images.
