Choosing Slide Layouts to Suit the Contents
To get your material onto a slide, and to make it look good, you need to choose a suitable layout. You can either use one of PowerPoint's built-in slide layouts or create a custom layout of your own.
Using PowerPoint's Built-in Slide Layouts
For most presentations, the best way to start creating slides is by using the nine standard layouts that you can insert from the Home Slides New Slide drop-down panel (see Figure 20–1). Table 20–1 explains the layouts and what they're best for.
