Editing Recorded Macros

As already mentioned in the previous section, macros can be accessed via the Macros dialog box. The Macros dialog box also enables you to open a macro in the VBA editor.

Although it isn’t exactly editing, you can delete unwanted macros from the list. To delete a macro from the Macros dialog box, select a macro and then click Delete. A message box opens and asks whether you want to remove the selected macro; click Yes to confirm the deletion.

Exploring the VBA Editor

To view the VBA code in a macro and edit it, you need to open the VBA editor. Select a macro in the Macros dialog box and then click Edit. The VBA Editor opens, as shown in Figure B.8.
