Dealing with Message Attachments
Outlook blocks many file types as mail attachments. When a blocked file type is included in a message that you receive, Outlook provides a message that a potentially unsafe file type was blocked. Message attachments can certainly contain malware, so blocking file types that are programs or executable files makes sense. Table 27.1 lists some of the blocked file types.
