Introduction to Noise Measurement

In Chapter 4, we have used TINA Spice to analyze noise in operational amplifier (op-amp) circuits. The example circuit used for TINA Spice analysis is also used in the hand analysis example given in Chapter 3. The result from hand analysis and TINA Spice closely matched each other. In Chapter 5, we introduce different types of equipment used for measuring noise. Specifications and modes of operation pertinent to noise measurement are discussed. Although specific models of equipment are considered, the concepts can be applied to most equipment.
