The Innovation Approach

From Conception to Outcome

In Chapter 10, we spent time discussing what innovation is and isn’t; we also discussed the internal and external sources of innovation and key ideas on how to capitalize on innovation. With the sources of innovation identified, the next logical step is to consider introducing a process to facilitate innovation. As we discussed in the last chapter, creative and valuable ideas exist both internally and externally to a business. However, without placing a focused effort on how to prompt, attract, and entice these ideas in order to bring them to reality, they will cease to emerge.
