Using XML DB Repository Events
Oracle XML DB Repository events are a set of events triggered by operations performed in XML DB Repository. Table 3-2 summarizes a subset of XML DB system-defined events, which are mostly used by XML applications. You can find the complete list in Oracle XML DB Developer’s Guide.
In Oracle XML DB Repository, each repository operation is associated with one or more repository events. You can assign repository event listeners to the repository events by updating the XML DB Repository configuration file. The listener can be a Java class, a PL/SQL package, or an object type.
