In the scripts provided for the practice tables, a large number of INSERT commands are executed. In place of those INSERTS, you could create a file containing the data to be loaded and then use Oracle’s SQL*Loader utility to load the data. This chapter provides you with an overview of SQL*Loader and its major capabilities. Two additional data-movement utilities, Data Pump Export and Data Pump Import, are covered in Chapter 24.
