WebLogic Server provides an infrastructure that allows it to serve as a Java Messaging Services (JMS) provider in order to facilitate asynchronous messaging between clients using the JMS API. In this chapter we will explore the architecture of the WebLogic Server JMS Services and discuss its most important administrative considerations. Figure 2-3 illustrates the main elements of the WebLogic Server JMS architecture and the relationship between them.
