Synopsis

The PAUSE command, most commonly used from script files, prompts the user to press the ENTER key before the script can continue.

Syntax

PAU[SE] [pause_message]

Parameters

PAU[SE]: Is the command, which may be abbreviated PAU.
pause_message: Is an optional message you want displayed to the user. It's generally a good idea to include a message telling the users to press ENTER, lest they think the system has locked up on them.
