It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using the Monitoring Dashboard
WebLogic Server 11g has a brand new tool for viewing diagnostic information called the Monitoring Dashboard. You can access the Monitoring Dashboard by going to http://hostname:port/console/dashboard. Figure 6-2 shows the home page of the Monitoring Dashboard. You can view both current and historical performance metrics and how those metrics have changed over time through the Monitoring Dashboard. The dashboard presents run-time server instance information in the form of built-in views, a collection of charts that display various performance metrics.
