OS X comes with three applications that enable you to enjoy music and video on your Mac:
• iTunes lets you play audio and video files, as well as purchase or rent content to listen to or watch on your Mac.
• QuickTime Player enables you to view, record, edit, and share QuickTime-compatible media files.
• DVD Player allows you to play movies and other video stored on DVD media on your Mac.
