31. Customizing Finder Windows
OS X makes it possible to customize the appearance and functionality of windows and the desktop a number of different ways:
• Set view options to control icon size, grid spacing, sort order, text size, background, and other options for individual windows and, on a limited basis, the desktop.
• Customize the toolbar to add, remove, and reorganize buttons and other options.
• Customize the sidebar to add, remove, and reorganize folders and other items.
Making changes like these helps you set up your computer so it works best for your particular needs.
