Chapter Goal: Work with type on paths and see how you can distort the lettering and the text path going around a vector logo.

In this chapter, we will first review some of the basic text tools—Type, Area Type, Type on a Path, and Touch Type—and see how we can use them and their options to warp either the letter character, the area the text is within, or the path itself.
