If you’ve read any of my previous books (War and Peace, Moby Dick, Tale of Two Cities, The South Beach Diet), you already know two things: (1) I name each chapter after a song title, a TV show, or a movie title and the subhead below it explains what the chapter is really about. For example, this chapter, “Hooked on Classics,” is named after a 1987 rock remake of a classical piece by Mason Williams and Mannheim Steamroller.
