13 Exporting Images
As long as you work within Lightroom, all your changes are saved as metadata. At some point, however, you may need to export those files to post them on the Web, edit them in a non-metadata-based program like Photoshop, or burn them onto a disc. When exporting Lightroom files, you create copies of your original images in four formats: JPEG for e-mail or the Web, PSD for working in Photoshop, TIFF for print projects, or DNG (digital negative).
