It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a picture with words has even more persuasive powers. Although Photoshop CS5 is not a page-layout application, you can add text to photographs for impact or to create an original design. You can also create special text effects to give personality to the words or even use the words alone to create the design.
