The Berkeley Hills are honeycombed with tiny streets and pedestrian paths. I love walking and quite often find myself navigating through the maze of byways near our house. Not far from where we live is a house with a permanent fixture parked in its driveway—an ancient red truck. A Diamond T to be exact.
One day the sun bounced off the rim of the headlight and spoke to me. “YO, paint this!” it said. Well, maybe not in so many words, but you get the idea—inspiration hit.
