The Greatest Challenge
“Damen” was the greatest challenge I ever encountered in my personal work (Figure 9.1). It went beyond the power and features found in Photoshop and Illustrator. It was a challenge on a personal level as well because it was a test of my patience and determination. To force myself to devote almost an entire year to one project was a task I was not prepared for. I never considered what effect time would have on me, or my work.
