Third, after exciton dissociation, electrons flowed toward the base
electrode. Electrons accumulated around the base electrode shield
of the base field, reducing the potential barrier. At the same time,
a portion of the electrons trapped at the ITO/channel interface,
enhanced the hole-injection from ITO into the channel. Finally, the
reduced potential barrier and enhanced hole-injection obtained a
large photocurrent.
