I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Jak wyjaśniłem w rozdziale 3., wzorzec ELT to idealne rozwiązanie projektowe dla potoków danych przeznaczonych na potrzeby analizy danych, nauki i produktów danych. Dwa pierwsze kroki we wzorcu ELT — wyodrębnianie (ang. extract) i wczytywanie (ang. load) — są określane mianem pobierania danych. W rozdziale tym pokażę, jak skonfigurować środowisko programistyczne i infrastrukturę dla tych kroków, a także wyjaśnię kwestie związane z wyodrębnianiem danych z różnych systemów źródłowych. Natomiast w rozdziale 5. dowiesz się, jak otrzymane w wyniku tych operacji zbiory danych wczytywać do hurtowni danych.
