So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

MicroProfile 4.1 builds on some Jakarta EE (formerly Java Enterprise Edition) application programming interfaces (APIs)—specifically, Jakarta RESTful Web Services (JAX-RS), Jakarta Contexts and Dependency Injection (CDI), JavaScript Object Notation Processing (JSON-P), and JSON Binding (JSON-B). Using only these technologies, it is possible to develop a perfectly capable cloud-native application. The MicroProfile community added a type-safe mechanism for invoking RESTful services known as the MicroProfile Rest Client.
