Saiful Azad earned his PhD in information engineering from the University of Padova, Italy, in 2013. He completed his BSc in computer and information technology at the Islamic University of Technology (IUT) in Bangladesh, and his MSc in computer and information engineering at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). After the completion of his PhD, he joined the Department of Computer Science at the American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB) as a faculty member.
