Okay, with Chapter 5 complete, we have ourselves a nice little app for marking up documents. However, it’s purported to be a “shared” environment for document markup, but that’s not the case right now. So, let’s remedy that!

In this chapter, we’ll get into the third letter of JAM in JAMstack that we haven’t touched on much yet: the A, for API. We’ll see how to host this app on a provider with a bit more to offer than GitHub Pages – APIs for one thing – and we’ll enhance JAMboard to be a real shared workspace.
