This book aims to provide information to developers who have worked on JavaScript and wish to gain hands-on experience with jQuery. It starts by reviewing some JavaScript concepts and forges ahead to establish the need for a standard framework. This need is addressed by this book, which explores jQuery as a JavaScript framework and covers further developments, with the aim of helping readers to become familiar with the way problems are solved using jQuery.
