To get the most from the autocomplete command, learn how to interact with the pop-up menu. Either refine the choices and then pick an item, or dismiss the list if it doesn’t contain what you want.
When autocomplete is triggered, Vim draws a pop-up menu containing the items in the word list. We can interact with this menu using the commands shown in Table 19, Commands for the Pop-Up Menu.
